Quality and environmental management

 

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the job of environmental management technician, and provide them with the knowledge, techniques and attitudes necessary to carry out a strategy and policy of environmental management in the company. .

 

The specific objectives linked to the exit profile of the students of the courses are:

 

• Know the law on the environment, the distribution of powers and administrative responsibility,

• Know the environmental taxation, and the current fees and taxes,

• Know how to carry out an environmental impact assessment,

• Know the management of waste, and the obligations of the producer and manager,

• Know how to design and develop an environmental audit,

• Program, implement and evaluate environmental management systems in the company.

 

 

 

 

Environmental educator

 

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the job of environmental education monitor, to provide students with sufficient mastery of knowledge, techniques and attitudes necessary to perform effective environmental education, in the formal and non-formal spheres; and apply pedagogical methods and techniques that allow them to program, implement, and evaluate environmental education actions and programs.

 

The specific objectives linked to the exit profile of the students of the courses according to the areas of action are:

 

• Know the major environmental problems today

• Know sustainable development

• Be convinced of the influence that environmental education can have on sustainable development

• Know the situation of environmental education in the world, in Spain and in Catalonia

• Know how to design and develop environmental education programs and activities

• Schedule, implement and evaluate environmental education actions and programs

 

 

 

 

Water treatment

 

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the job of water treatment plant operator in which the student must act in a programmed manner on the various systems of a plant. water and carry out maintenance work on equipment, components and facilities.

 

The specific objectives linked to the exit profile of the students of the courses according to the areas of action are:

 

• Interpret electrical and hydraulic circuits and installations, applying the basic principles of electricity and hydraulics

• Interpret the sequence, equipment and process variables of a water treatment plant

• Perform the start-up and stop maneuvers of a water treatment plant

• Act on the elements of a water treatment plant

• Apply regulations and safety measures in a water collection and treatment plant

• Do predictive and preventive maintenance work

• Carry out corrective maintenance operations, in accordance with current regulations

Urban waste treatment

 

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the job of operator of urban waste treatment and disposal facilities. Therefore students must be prepared for the handling, maintenance and forecast of breakdowns of the machinery, the continuous feeding of the plant and the opportune rotation of peonage.

 

The specific objectives linked to the exit profile of the students of the courses according to the areas of action are:

 

• The continuous feeding of the plant and stop and sequential start of the facilities according to the planned program to achieve the correct operation of the process.

• The control of incoming waste and dumping processes in the reception phase, by weighing, contrasting the cubic and supervision of its composition, to prevent the entry of unwanted products or disproportionate volumes.

• The optimal maintenance and conservation of the equipment and facilities, by means of lubrications and periodic controls, to avoid sudden failures and to be able to program the works of follow-up and replacement of pieces conveniently.

• The ideal rotation of the peonalla to the cuts, by means of the knowledge of personalities and perception of moods and physical that favor the normal course of the process.

• The knowledge of the state of the recovered by-products, by means of approximate cubicities and control of the shipment of the expedition, to assure an optimal rotation in times and volumes.

• The monitoring of the strict fulfillment of the measures of the security and hygiene, as well as the control and intermediation between the operators and his superior in labor matter.

 

 

 

 

Installer of photovoltaic and wind systems

 

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the job of installer of photovoltaic and wind systems, ie, will have to perform autonomous electrification installations, using solar photovoltaic systems and small power wind, connect plates, wind turbine, battery, control and consumption elements, and organize the different phases of the process, provision of materials, installation and testing for effective development.

• Describe the basic principles of energy transformation of solar radiation

• Explain the various technologies for the application of solar energy

• Establish the foundations of wind energy and wind aerodynamic transformation

• Install cable extensions
