Green entrepreneurs project

Fostering the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of the environment on a European scale.

The Green Entepreneurs project is part of the European Union's Leonardo da Vinci program. It studies the current economic situation in the field of the environment on a European scale and identifies possible critical points for environmental companies. It also monitors the requirements needed to determine emerging business areas. The areas analyzed are: Energy: Energy saving and renewable energies, Water: Water supply and wastewater treatment, Urban Ecology: building construction and sustainable urban management, Waste management: Treatment of contaminated soils, Quality of the air: Air pollution, Transport and tourism.

 

The project focuses on small and medium-sized companies, new and existing and potential entrepreneurs looking for opportunities in the environmental sector, to offer them real and relevant business opportunities in the field of environment, information on legislation, financial aid and training in case studies and interactive examples of case studies on successful environmental companies and examples of real business opportunities.

 

Entrepreneurs have all this information at their disposal through specialized advice and an interactive tool where they can make comparisons of countries between regions of Europe and will also be a valuable resource tool for business support agencies and administrations responsible for business dynamism. and sectorial.


Various business support organizations, small and medium-sized enterprises and local, regional and national administrations from Denmark, the United Kingdom, Poland, Ireland and Catalonia are involved in the project.

 

The consortium is made up of an association that offers specialized knowledge in both the business and environmental fields; two SME support organizations in the UK and Ireland; an environmental training agency focused on social inclusion in Barcelona; a national and international showcase of Denmark for energy and environmental solutions; a Polish ecological foundation; and a Northern Ireland business training and advice provider.

Climatizer project

Restoration of monuments and old buildings with ecological insulation

The project focuses on Basic Modules of ecological training for the insulation and restoration of old buildings and monuments, with the aim of integrating ecological guidelines into insulation and construction techniques in traditional forms of construction. It combines initial and continuous training, and especially aimed at young people at high risk of social exclusion.
